Workshop with Magdalena Berny

Unless anyone interested in child photography does not need to present this photographer. Her work is characterized by her own, worked out over the years style. The pictures stand out in a unique, fairytale atmosphere. Excellent light handling makes her photos magnetic. Magda is able to perfectly capture children's emotions, their delicacy, innocence, purity, thoughtfulness. Photos exude tranquility, nostalgia, beauty.

During the children's portrait workshop, you will be able to take photos with both live and continuous studio lighting.

The first part of the workshop will focus on portraits in the spring convention, how to plan a session in such a climate and color, how to choose clothes and look for places with the right light (natural light). We will also do a mini-session outdoors (if the weather conditions are favorable).

The second part of the workshop will be devoted to making portraits with a simple set of continuous studio lighting.

Portraits will be made in the studio, but in such a way and under such conditions that later, it would be easy to reproduce these at home.

PROGRAM

8.45 - 9.00 - Welcome to the participants, organizational matters

THEORY

9.00-10.30 - introduction, presentation of the lead portfolio, the story of where to look for inspiration, places, how to choose colors and stylizations for beauty model, how to work with children, how to take studio photos without studying,

PRACTICE

11.00-14.30 - shooting in the studio (each participant will have the opportunity to work individually with the model, of course with lead support, in this set we plan at least three different stylizations). We will be shooting in two differently arranged spaces. One set of photos will be devoted to the creation of a mini photo story

14.30-15.30 - lunch

15.30-17.30 - Continuous studio photography

POSTPRODUCTION

17.30-19.00 - On the example of 2-3 pictures taken before, the leader will show his machining style (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop will be used); Each workshop participant will receive a set of presets for Lightroom

• Full-day photo studio workshops, three photo sessions (more than five hours of under-the-eye photography)

Workshop cost: 925 PLN (price includes VAT)

Reservation is subject to an advance payment of 50% of the price, which determines the order of payments. The remaining amount should be paid no later than two weeks before the workshop deadline.
